Housing
One of HAART’s goals is to provide stable, permanent housing (rental assistance) for persons with disabilities, assisting them to sustain recovery, mental and medical health; restructure their lives: help them work toward self-sufficiency, and integrate back into the community.
Our housing programs provide opportunities for transitional and permanent housing for homeless persons with disabilities. Target populations include those who are homeless and diagnosed with a physical disability, mental illness, alcohol or substance abuse. Scattered-site housing is available in Baton Rouge and surrounding parishes.
