Supportive Housing Programs

Homes from the HAART

Homes from the HAART is a permanent housing program that provides rental assistance and case management services to assist clients in achieving self-sufficiency, improve their physical health and increase their literacy/employment skills.  In order to be eligible for the program, clients must:

  1. Be HIV Positive
  2. Be Homeless
  3. Have income at or below 50% of Area Median Income.*

*Clients with zero income are not eligible for this program.

 

Helping Hands

Helping Hands is a transitional (6 months) housing program that provides rental assistance and case management services to assist clients in achieving self-sufficiency in a home environment, improve their physical health and increase their literacy/employment skills.  In order to be eligible for the program, clients must:

  1. Be dually diagnosed with a combination of any of the following:  mental heath substance abuse, and/or HIV.
  2. Be homeless
  3. Have income at or below 50% of Area Median Income.*

*Clients with zero income are not eligible for this program.

Hope and Healing

Hope and Healing is a permanent housing program that provides rental assistance and case management services to assist clients in achieving self-sufficiency in a home environment, improve their physical and mental health and assist them to establish an individualized support system. In order to be eligible for the program, clients must:

  1. Be dually diagnosed with a combination of any of the following:  mental heath substance abuse, and/or HIV.
  2. Be homeless
  3. Have income at or below 50% of Area Median Income.*

*Clients with zero income are not eligible for this program.

 

All of our housing programs require a referral form be completed by your current case manager or a referral agency.  Please download the form, complete and either fax to (225) 754-9942 or hand-deliver to the HAART offices at 4550 North Blvd. Ste. 250, Baton Rouge, LA 70806.
