Ryan White Case Management


The Ryan White and MAI Program is a vital component of the HAART organization that provides case management services to persons who have been diagnosed as HIV positive. 

Eligibility/Required Documents 

The following requirements must be met for eligibility for the Ryan White Part A services in Baton Rouge TGA: 

  • Documentation of HIV diagnosis

  • Documentation of Income at no more than 300% of the Federal Poverty Level

  • Documentation of Residency in Eligible Transitional Grant Area (East Baton Rouge Parish, West Baton Rouge Parish, East Feliciana Parish, West Feliciana Parish, Iberville Parish, Pointe Coupee Parish, Ascension Parish, Livingston Parish, St. Helena Parish)

  • Documentation of Health Insurance status

 **Individuals accessing medications must have an income of no more than 400% of the current Federal Poverty Level. **

  • Medication Assistance 

  • Medical Transportation 

  • Oral Health 

  • Mental Health/Substance Abuse Counseling 

  • Emergency Financial Assistance (Food vouchers, utility & medication assistance) 

  • Mental Health/Substance Abuse Counseling

  • Health Insurance Cost Shares

  • Benefits Enrollment

  • Early Intervention Services

  • Housing (assistance with payments)

  • Referrals to other supportive services available

    **Ryan White Part A funds are to be used as payor of last resort. Availability of services depending upon grant funds.**
