In late 1999, HAART was selected to
administer a new statewide program aimed at
assisting HIV+ clients. The CDAP program is
designed to increase access to primary
medical care by providing assistance with
payment of insurance co-payments and
deductibles for eligible clients who are unable
to cover these costs through their own
resources. There are more than 300 HIV+
clients enrolled in the CDAP program. The
program is currently funded for $400,000.
